With the giant leap in human evolution and personal and global transformation, what we once believed about our close and intimate relationships, we are now being triggered to potentially take a different perspective on how we structure our relationships. This is bringing about a lot of confusion and a lot of fear for many people, who are sensing and feeling a lot of change in their world, This change includes upheavals and issues rising to the surface in the dynamics of their relationships.

Close and intimate relationships are breaking down quicker and more often than ever before. The unfortunate thing here is that where there is a relationship breakdown or ending, both parties become disillusioned, often angered and linger in emotional pain, due to the lack of understanding of what is happening or has happened. However, it is at these times when they need to reflect and consider a different structure in their relationships. This is not an easy thing to do when they are enveloped in emotional turmoil.

Relationship issues, breakdowns, or endings are all about personal evolution and transformation. It is part of the awakening journey. To evolve we need to learn and understand that the structure we thought was appropriate for the relationship may not have been appropriate for us. If we don't bring this to our consciousness, and learn and understand this, we go back and repeat the same cycle in a new relationship with the same outcome. That's not to say this is a bad thing. It just means that the cycle will repeat until the individual can consciously see the patterns they are forming, and are ready to look further into making changes within themselves. This is a wonderful turning point in their personal evolution, taking them further to who they are, and where great personal potential can be recognized.

When there are adverse dynamics in a relationship, not only does the structure of the relationship require reflection from both parties, but for each party individually it will also require the mending of certain very personal issues which need to be actioned consciously. These issues are the very thing that the relationship intended to uncover.

It's important to understand, and not many can grasp this, that on a higher level we have relationships as a means of creating and strengthening the relationship we have with ourselves. Commitment to another also means commitment to ourselves! It's also important to remember, which many find confronting, is that not all relationships last forever, or are intended to last forever, but serve a purpose for the growth and development of the individual at certain periods of their life throughout their life.

To enter into a close and intimate relationship with another is the most courageous action any individual can take, as it sets the scene for major personal growth and transformation. The dynamics, issues, struggles, and emotional chaos that we often experience in relationships are part of our awakening journey, and bring us closer to who we are.
